The Glorious Return

Last time I updated my blog was during my final year project. That was way back in Jan 2010. Now its already May 2011! How time flies. I was so caught up in a lot of obligations that I naturally forgot that I have a blog. Oh well. I am back and that is all that matters.

So what have I been doing lately? Well let see. First of all, I am now in year 4. Yipee.. Normally a tertiary student completed their course within three years. Its obvious that I am not looking forward to school while everyone have graduated. Big Sigh. Anyways, I will be taking four modules this semester and thats it! I will be officially out of Nanyang Polytechnic in half a years' time. Than I will be embarking on a whole new chapter of my life. Serving the nation for two years. Wish me best of luck for that.

Oh yes. Update on my braces. If you still remember, I am wearing braces, since 2009. The whole process took 2 years to complete. For those who want to or planning to invest on braces, go for it! Though it will be tough for the first year upon adding in metals on your teeth and extracting teeth and rubber bands and metal wires and long, grueling, agonizing, tormenting, aggravating days of endless pain...its not a big deal at all ;)

Anyways, I have four more months to go and goodbye Brace face!

It will probably be weird upon having it gone since I have so gotten use to it. But I just can wait to slide my tongue from left to right of my upper and lower teeth, just having the satisfaction from a set of straight teeth. :D

Dress normally is a phrase I rarely use in my vocabulary. For me there are so many exciting things to try in fashion than just settle for anything conventional. I guess I am tired of conventional because Ive been there. Despite that there are so many ways on how to dress, all mapped in a specific name like: preppy, punk, skate, bodycon, 80s, etc. I prefer to go beyond the context of these looks and create my own fashion vocab. I think its more fun don't you think? If the most influential designers can do it, why cant we the fashion folk?

I'm almost at the chorus part of Tong Hua when playing my piano. quite impress at how I could manage to play even to the bridge.

Anyways, it will be two more weeks before I end my in-house attachment at SIT.

On the contrary, they are a bunch of cool people to hang out with. I must say, SIT is much more happening than SIDM. I know some people might disagree but if you get to know them and their activities held weekly, you might feel the same way as I do.

Work was slacking tonight. We close very early till we need to wait for 10:30 to time out. I was actually looking forward to work with Ryan tonight but for some reason, he didn't turn up, which was quite sad and disappointing. I was pretty much not in the mood to talk with anybody as I do my work in silent. Fortunately, Vasan was there to lighten up the already dull atmosphere. But still... so sad...

Oh well...

WUDDUP! I'm back!

Blogging once again after I've gone awol. Anyways, this video I would like to dedicate to my friends whose always there for me (Especially to Michelle Yeong and of course Ryan). Song entitled "Count On Me" by Bruno Mars. So cool of him to compose this song. Finally a different approach and not those common love or emo melodies that we often hear.

Recent activities

It has been awhile that I didn't update so here I am. SP4 is finally over. Though I didn't participate this semester. 3 weeks of holidays have passed and now going to the fourth week. Chilling out at home is a bore and theres not much thing to do. However, I never stay at home 24/7. I went to my alma mater instead. Helping the band has been a fun thing to do ever since I graduated from that school.

Recently Miss Chen approached me and asked whether I could help out teach some cheer leading stuff to the Gandhi Cheerleader. I said that I will see first. I went for the first practice and I was pleasantly surprise that many people came. So I taught them some basic stunts. I forgot how fun it was to be dancing. The flame of my old self has been rekindled!

I am now waiting for an email or instant message of sort from my school. I dont know when my school will start though. Oh well.

Today is Chinese New Year and Valentines day. Whats with this day being clashed anyway? And what with everybody going on about valentines day? What is so special about this day? I mean what's up with 14th feb? it's just another date on the calendar. and c'mon, everyday should be a vday. not just on 14th feb. pfft. like what my fren have mentioned, vday is just another excuse for gals to ask for expensive gifts and guys to get laid. -.-" and i so agree!
